90210 bipolar episode

What is bipolar?

I know this guys he is. and heard on 90,210 episodes. And I have no idea what that means?? Can you tell me what it means?

Bipolar means two poles …. as two poles of mood. Also called manic-depressive illness is described the two poles. Mania and depression. It is a mood disorder where the person experiences episodes of depression and manic episodes. Depression is understood, the mania is not so much. Mania is not just "very happy". Mania is a period of high energy that can be euphoric (happy / hyper energy) or dysphoric (angry ravages of energy) … or one of the two. With as many thoughts and preconceptions. Also many impulsive / reckless behavior or decision, due to the distortion of perceptions (which is where the overspending, and so hypersexuallity arrive). Depression just feels like a deep well can not get out, and unlike the depression of the situation, there is nothing that can address, address change or pull out of it. Often, energy is so low that not even get out of bed …. making a great effort and sometimes is almost impossible. Could ….. overeating or just eat. Suicidal thoughts are common, but usually at the severe end of the state of depression that does not happen like you just do not have the energy to make a plan much less …. get on with it. Suicide risk is greater when depression seems to be improving and he still feels the lack of hope, but finally have the energy to move forward with it. There are also "episodes mixed, "where symptoms of both poles are mixed ……. hopelessness and despair of depression, along with agitation, racing thoughts, and energy of mania. (Actually, I think this state has a higher suicide risk …. why suicide rates are so high with bipolar depression with only ….. I think the statistics are 25-30% of people with bipolar attempt and 15-20% success unfortunately …. I am part of the% of people who try, luckily did not succeed … but my two attempts came at a severe mixed episode.) Episodes can last from weeks to months, its not really "mood swings", but drastic shifts in the mood when the episodes of mood changes. Episodes also generally not caused by environment. It could be a severe depression when all in life is almost perfect. It could be angry and upset of mania, no reason to be angry about something (but be careful if something or someone gives you a reason to be angry when It isn't angry ….. enough). I could be happy and feel like nothing could hurt, and nothing could go wrong, but being in a position that will lose their jobs, about to be evicted from his apartment and are subject to repurchase their car payment because it spent on other things …… but still feels he can handle everything. is mainly treated with mood stabilizers. Lithium is the longest used, and remains one of the most effective for most people. Anticonvolsents Many have been found to be very effective mood stabilizers. Many people also are treated with antipsychotics (with or without psychotic episodes, are very effective anti-psychotic treatment manic symptoms), medications for anxiety (anxiety is often also present with depression), and antidepressants (must be done very carefully and never without a mood stabilizer …… antidepressants can easily trigger severe mania, especially if no mood stabalizer ….. been there, not fun) The word bipolar is often misused because it is no temperamental, exhibitions of 2 opposite to the behavior (mean / nice, happy / sad), has a temperament and well on. That is totally wrong
