How does alcohol interact with my medications and what should I do if I want to drink?
I have bipolar II. I take Cymbalta 90mg, Topamax 50mg 2x a day (I think … not have it in me), and 30 mg of aripiprazole. I also take Klonopin .5 mg as PRN for anxiety. How do these drugs interact specifically to alcohol, and what should I do if I want to drink? Skip them, or jump to drink? I am not an alcoholic, but I'm part of Italy. I like my wind and I am a responsible drinker … I just want to know.
Call ask a nurse or doctor, do not trust something so important to a random person on yahoo answers! maybe you can skip your medication from time to time, but certainly ask somebody who knows what they are talking. Even Tylenol interacts badly with liquor and be careful!
