anxiety and depression in kids

How to overcome depression and anxiety without medication?

I have had these years. However, I myself took my meds around 2 months and I feel more depressed I think that drugs were being cursed. I have an outbreak of depression, here and there, but not as bad as me was, however, my anxiety is overwhelming. i cannot enjoy life! We constantly worry that my sons every move you do get hurt badly. I feel that I stand to be rought around normal kids. also my anxiety omg its sooooo bad car. the point i dont want to go anywhere anymore because I'm afraid. storms are another major. if appears that a storm is coming i make custom. if we are out and see that we need to clarify stop and go somewhere. no smartass answers please I'm being honest. i consider counseling, but with my husband working hours and shift to a new city that does not have anyone to see my kids while I go.

It is certainly possible that psychotherapy can be useful for you. Unfortunately, in some studies, 85% of psychotherapists admitted to practice without a specific model or theory in mind. Personally, if I saw a psychotherapist, I would ensure that there were "fluttering", but unless you have an understanding of specific models of therapy, this would be, obviously difficult to judge. One thing you can try before seeing a therapist (especially if it is inconvenient or too expensive at the moment) is to consider self-help psychotherapy. Currently, the only model of psychotherapy that is consistent with a model of self-help is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is a standard psychotherapy (s ie not Psychobabble) to treat depression and anxiety. Please avoid common strip or self-help books – any self-help should be designed specifically about CBT. One that I know of is called "Mind over Mood" by Greenberger D: http://www.amazon.com/Mind-Over-Mood-Change-Changing/dp/0898621283/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-2383797 -9184942? ie = UTF8 & s = books & qid = 1192862947 & sr = 8-1 Many people have an equivalent in the answer or perhaps better than drugs with psychotherapy alone, so it is not reasonable to try this first. HOWEVER … Please consider an evaluation with a psychiatrist at least once to get your opinion on drugs. The questions you need to know to you are: – how likely is a medicine to work for you? – If it works, how much difference going to do? – What You Need expect if you do not take the medicine? You must have the answer to these questions before taking any decision on (or off) drugs in general. As always, talk about these and any questions with your doctor.
