are anxiety and depression related

How are related to anxiety and depression?

In one of my earlier posts I mentioned that need to relax from anxiety and one person wrote that anxiety is "depression, and although I feel really wound up because I'm down??? I've never heard or read before. Does anyone know how this works, or whether this is really the case?

Absolutely. I suffer from this. I am eager and leads to depression. You can work both ways. It makes sense if you think … Some people are depressed .. and then get anxious because they think much about .. you begin to wonder about life .. do not understand why feel that way. Then there are people like me who has a growing anxiety. This in turn makes me feel out of place, uncomfortable, and disturbs my sleep. Lack of sleep, and all others, may cause the wind to be depressed very easily. The mood is not stable because the anxiety is interfering. Anxiety and depression are two different things though. However, they are often intertwined. Sometimes people start to think they have a number of conditions … but do not realize … a large majority of which can be derived from a single condition: Anxiety and depression symptoms.
