ativan bipolar

Anyone else bipolar and medication are gone?
I was diagnosed bipolar, probably 7 years ago at the age of 20 or 21. I had been on Prozac for years and started having some mental collapse. My first diagnosis was schitzophrenia but after 3 doctors, all antipsychotics / / Med antidepressant for anxiety in the market as well as 3 trips to the hospital and many of the therapy, I was not better. I finally got the doctor to have today. He flat told me that if I were schitzophrenic, I would not be able to have a conversation with him and tell him, step by step, what I have been through mental and physically. So, I was diagnosed as bipolar, then schitzoaffective. I was in and out of all types of medication, but the longest of regiment What I had was Cymbalta / Lamictal / Ativan. Xa starting 2 days, then once. Then I got into a serious car accident and thought it's been more than 7 years and wanted to go for medications. So I was weaned them. It's been about 9 months. Anyone else done something similar? If so, what were your experiences?
Last year I went off my meds for a few months. I managed to find seven traffic tickets and had a couple of overdoses in some other things. So for me my medicine reel me and gives me a box to work when everything else is going crazy. Be sure to leave your doc knows what he is doing on the road. I let mine know the other week I was in a break of one week's partner. Its good to know that someone has an idea whats going on just in case things blow up.
