attacking anxiety and depression reviews
I’m looking for feedback on Effexor…What’s Your experience taking it?
I have severe anxiety with panic attacks. In the last month, or so, the anxiousness has lasted a better part of the entire day. I have mild social phobias, but only if it’s crowded feeling, but I do not have clinical depression.
My therapist wants to put me on Effexor next week. I have tried so many of the different SSRI’s only to have bad reactions to them, including more intense anxiety. I know Effexor is an SSNI and there seems to be quite a few very positive reviews from other people, but there’s also a number of bad reviews.
So….I’m asking my Yahoo Answers family for their feedback.
Anyone have anything to say about Effexor and how it’s been for Anxiety and Social Phobias?
I have been on four different medications and Effexor is most definitely the best so far. I love it. I didn’t have any bad side effects but I will tell you, MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT MISS A DOSE. For me, missing a dose makes my head hurt like hell and I feel hungover. But other than that, this medication has done wonders for me. Good Luck!
