b vitamins bipolar
Has anyone had personal experience with the treatment of bipolar disorder without medications? (natrually w / vitamins)?

I'm an adult with bipolar, I have been 5 years out of medicines. but lately, in case of eels I need "something" b / c I have been so manic, I'm yelling at my kids and spouse all the time. Anyway, I began doing research and saw that some people http://www.alternativementalhealth.com/articles/bipolartreatment.htm (see link above) are the treatment of w / vitamins? Hmph, I already take a multi vitamin A, and still have problems. I HATE putting drugs in my body, which is why I had to do front during the last 5 years w / out. But I have to do what is best for children rmy, so I'm reconsidering. I can not imagine taking more vitamins and the diff for me, but I thought I would ask around.

I was diagnosed bipolar at age 12 and then a couple of shrinks "returned" the diagnosis when I was 16 … so I do not know if you want advice from me, as my mood changes (if one can call it) has always been gradual … many months, and the highest I see is a * very * mild, barely noticeable hypomania. That said, I've never found the vitamin or dietary intake to regulate my moods at all, except for a very low-carbohydrate diet, which puts me in a constant state of zen, quiet a bit of euphoria, because my blood sugar levels are stable. I believe I read that the state of lipolysis (ketosis) in itself is slightly psychoactive, irrespective of the effects of stabilizing blood sugar. What makes the difference with most mood regulation is to keep myself in an environment completely free of emotional stress. It is impractical to try to live in a "bubble", especially when you have a job and children, I know. I do this because I am a housewife and live alone with my husband. But you could incorporate the concept when – wham! – Made himself scarce and take long to himself in a completely zen – alone in the park or reading a book and listening soft music for most of his spare time … at least the time they spend with their families will be of higher quality then. Pills have never done anything for me.
