Do you think some people will be trying to get a diagnosis now?
“UK doctors are resorting to paying some psychiatric patients in the hope it will make them take their medication.
As a trial, 68 patients with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia will get £15 for every jab of anti-psychotic drug, earning them a possible £720 in a year. ”

I just wonder if people are aware of the nasty side effects of anti-psychotic drugs, like chlorpromazine. Would it put them off?

It would be better to take them back into psychiatric hospital if they don’t take their medicine either that or an implant should be devised that delivers the medication at regular intervals. I think more people are aware of the sometimes horrendous consequences of the drugs not being taken so strict monitoring is essential.
