bipolar 1 and 2 symptoms
Does Bipolar 1 also have severe mood swings?
I have heard Bipolar 2 is where the more severe mood swings are usually.
My doctor said I am Bipolar 1, but I have also have severe mood swings, but I also have really intense manic episodes too .I not hypomania, that’s just how it starts and ends up being full blown mania.
SO i don’t get how I have symptoms of both Bipolar 1 and 2.
Any insight on this?

Actually I have had depressive episodes that have lasted 2-3 months sometimes and manic episodes that have last 2-3 months also.
Both have mood swings but full blown mania, psychosis, mixed states, or rapid cycling puts you in the Bipolar 1 category. Bipolar 1 is just bipolar 2 intensified……
