bipolar 1 disorder symptoms
Is it a sensitivity to rejection characteristics associated with bipolar I disorder?
I suffer from bipolar disorder type 1. I know many people who suffer of this disorder also suffer from borderline personality disorder. I do not think fall into this category, but one of the symptoms of the disorder is sensitive to rejection. I realized that I also suffer rejection sensitivity, so it was just curious if this is sometimes associated with my bipolar disorder or whether it is likely signal that can also suffer from bronchopulmonary dysplasia. I do not know self-diagnose therefore not necessary caveats. I'm really just curious.
In bipolar, only over-react to everything – when they are depressed and something goes wrong, it is devastating. I have been a suicide in the recording of a stew, destroying things dropping a pen (literally) and so far I feel rejected, but it is only a problem when I'm depressed (which now that I'm in my 40 is the most time, because I have not been able to find an effective treatment for bipolar and it got worse I age, a common result if not stabilized). I think you will notice the same thing – when depression is not acting in them, are not too sensitive. Everything is a serious blow when there is severe depression. You can not put things in perspective. Continue to "cancel cognitive "if you have had cognitive therapy – helps to maintain a normal behavior, even if your feelings are still really horrible. Because rejections often are not really happening, that are interpreting things in a distorted way, through the lens of his depression. If you have limits, you would be doing desperate attempts to avoid abandonment, have black and white thinking on others, feeling "empty", etc. There are many overlapping symptoms of the two conditions. And if you have bipolar and was seriously sexually or emotionally abused, you have some characteristics of the border, even if you do not meet the diagnosis (and believe me, do not want the label !!!!! It is pejorative, but should not be. Fully one to blame the victim mentality of this label when in fact, almost all these people were abused as children and terribly is why they have behavior problems). Good luck!
