bipolar adults

Is it possible to be allocated for bipolar disorder or personality disorders?
I wonder what the good people in the medical profession would with a young woman (18 legally an adult) who has major difficulties to achieve in the world due to manic depression or any number of disorders personality. It is the protocol to store away those people or bombs filled with psychiatric medications? I think it's likely that they are totally ignored. Reviews, thoughts, ideas?
It depends entirely on the person. If you seek the help they receive assistance if their families try to get them the help they can get help. Take drugs (not so bad as to make the sound) is up to them, nobody can force them. They can not help, because neither they nor their relatives are not even aware that a problem. The society likes to ignore the fact that mental illness exists, but in a situation of each individual is different. ……. As committed only can be committed against their will if they are a threat to themselves (suicide) and others (violent). The mentally ill also have rights. Before giving rights laws of people with mental illness were locked away in institutions and ignored. The medical profession can not be good to go door to door trying to collect and help those oout with mental health issues ……. Those needing assistance need to search.
