Bipolar (manic-depressive) How to manage depression triggered mania?
My roommate has become in a "Rocket Man" with manic behavior and I'm stuck here with their hobby. Since I am bipolar myself, I am aware of the symptoms, but do not know how to handle this type.
Mania can be a very dangerous phase, and as for trying to control someone there – is difficult. Clearly, if a friend, then you need to be aware of them and also try to avoid doing anything too dangerous or stupid. Maybe then we can talk when they feel better and ask them when it happens the next time they would like you to do for them.
