People suffering from bipolar disorder extreme highs (as a sense of euphoria and joy at all) and extreme lows (depression and unhappiness in full). I know that many people say they "feel bipolar "or they use the term as an adjective for their behavior when they are emotional and have mood swings, but realistically not suffering from mental illness. bipolar is difficult to diagnose, and there are several different subtypes. However, I think it must have experienced a combination of these, each of at least a couple of weeks to meet the criteria for diagnosis: Manic (elevated mood), episode, major depressive episode (low mood), hypomanic (as elevated mood, high energy and optimism, but no delusions of grandeur or something) and mixed affective episode (a little above) the article. The Wikipedia is not exactly in reading more fun, but more detailed: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipolar_disorder bipolar disorder can be treated with medication and therapy, and sufferers can live a functional life and recover, to varying degrees. But first, you really should make an appointment with your GP and have a chat with him / her about your symptoms and moods. He or she can give a professional opinion and diagnosis, and refer to a therapist if you need or want one, for therapy and medication as possible. All the best.
