bipolar disability checks
I’m 32 y/o receiving $1200 mo (SS-Disability), Should I move to the Philippines? OR go back to work in the US?
Due to Bipolar Disorder I’m receiving $1200.00 a month on SSDisability. I cannot live on this anywhere in the USA. However, I am thinking of returning to work (at least make an attempt while disabled) in the US to try to make Ends meet, BUT I risk LOSING my $1200 Disability check due to returning to the US workforce. Should I just move to the Philippines on my $1200 SSDI? OR Risk it all by returning to the US Workforce? I’m 32 years old… Any feedback would be appreciated…
Angel, my question is “do you able to work despite of your health problem?” is USD1,200 is not enough for you to save and for your day-to-day expenses and you’re thinking of working again. if your answer is NO then i suggest that you stay in the Philippines, save half of your disability benefits and when you got enough savings invest in SME, i guess you wouldn’t have to work hard for a salary. there were lots of business to invest in that doesn’t need big capital and good profit. with the help of your family and friends, i think you will succeed, but be wise in choosing the kind of business and people to deal with.
