How do you tell a unipolar stepper motor in a bipolar?
I have a stepper motor 8 wire I found and I have to get a driver for it. I can not tell if it is unipolar or bipolar though, so I do not know what kind of driver to get.
Bipolar permanent magnet and hybrid engines are constructed exactly the same mechanism that is used on unipolar motors, but the two windings are connected more easily, without center taps.
