bipolar food cravings

Is it Depakote or Abilify that causes food cravings?

I have been taking Depakote for about 10 years for bipolar and has just started Abilify about 3 months. Depakote made me gain a modest amount of weight, but lately all I can think about is food. Even when not hungry. I told my pDoc I would try something more than the Abilify. He refused, saying the Depakote. Any opinions. BTW I'm alreeady 120 lbs. overweight in part because of Zyprexa and largely my fault so that he can not afford to gain more weight. The doctor checked my blood sugar every month, but I have no idea what is day trading.

The television commercial for Abilify said that their levels of blood sugar can be messy so it is important to monitor it, especially if you are pre-diabetic. That might be why you're food anxiety, especially if their levels of blood sugar rise higher than normal and then fall suddenly. Is important than in a regular exercise regimen to control more easily. But since you really know it's the Abilify is doing and would like try something different, it is important that your doctor listens and helps you discover something different. Try a different doctor instead because it's pretty serious if you are experiencing excessive hunger, while taking ABILIFY. Visit the website later on (especially considering the first) and show your doctor. Do not be afraid to enter its face because it is very important that you maintain regular blood sugar levels, while taking ABILIFY.
