Dolphin is totally wrong about schizophrenia. Genetics is the "fashion" in modern science and there is no link final between schizophrenia and inheritance. The cause (s) of schizophrenia (which is not a single disorder but a range of them) is not known to medical science as there can be no physical or genetic test for schizophrenia. The diagnosis of a form of schizophrenia is a purely subjective opinion of a psychiatrist. Look up "schizophrenia" in a search on the Web! Yahoo. Wikipedia has a good summary.
