bipolar in adolescence
Can a single incident in adolescence put on BPD?

Can an incident of abuse in early adolescence causes BPD personality, how about bipolar disorder? Thanks for your answers.

incidents do not cause bipolar disorder, is a chemical imbalance and usually hereditary. the latest research suggests that BPD is a learned behavior, ie there is usually a parent who has these symptoms, although they may go undiagnosed, and the child learns this way of thinking / acting in them. It was suggested that BPD is caused by neglect (literally or emotionally) in early childhood.
