Studies have shown that the development of ADHD between 5 to 10% of children of school age. As a parent, you probably want to know why some ADHD children, while others do not. If there was some type of child who develops ADHD, then it would be much easier to prevent disorder emerging completely. But unfortunately, no. So is there a way for you to determine if your child is at risk for ADHD? Are there factors known risk for developing the disease?

Medical journals suggest a strong link between genetics and not ADHD. While Scientists have not yet identified a particular gene that has ADHD, studies show that 75 to 91% of people with ADHD to transmit the disease to the next two generations. So if your parents or one of his aunts and uncles of the symptoms exhibited hyperactivity, impulsiveness and inattention, there is a high probability disorder that may have been dictated to her children. But just because the relationship between genetics and ADHD does not mean there is genetics genetics cause. just simply makes someone predisposed to ADHD itself disorder. only start to put on when certain environmental factors interact with genetics predisposition.  Â

In other words, there are a myriad of environmental factors that may trigger ADHD in your child, and this is why ADHD medications are a poor solution to ADHD. drugs only work by treating the symptoms. But if one takes into account environmental triggers, the condition persists.  The best treatment for ADHD is not a mind-altering drug with many side effects, but a holistic program that consists of lifestyle changes and create a healthy environment that allows your child to grow and overcome the disorder.
