bipolar management

What is the difference between having problems managing anger and bipolar be?
How do you know if you are bipolar? need a better response please. thanks and 2.
My daughter is bipolar and is a chemical imbalance that causes. It is a very difficult diagnosis to make and it took my 8 year old daughter to do so. It was also more than a problem with her as she was under 18 years and nobody wanted to put a label like a little kid. One of the biggest problems is still the time of diagnosis, medication is quite horrible. It helps to suppress anger when surfaces, but also "numbs" all their emotions, so that happiness is also numb. It is very common to leave your medications. A bipolar person can run for months with them and most wonderful people smooth but when an "episode" comes in it is a completely different person. Cruel and viscous, make comments like daggers, and violence is very common. I had to sit in the back with arms and legs wrapped around my daughter for over an hour and had bite marks and the clutches everywhere by the end. I'm sure that some people with "anger management" issues are in fact different people with bipolar problems which is one of them. A place to start is with your family doctor can refer you to a specialist if you have concerns. If you have any other questions you can send me an e-mail here and I can try to provide more information. Living with a bipolar person can be atrocious, I guess that is infinitely worse.
