Another type of bipolar disorder is the diagnosis dual. This is where a bipolar disorder combined with alcohol and drug abuse or inclusion. Often, a person has started with a bipolar disorder, and undiagnosed then gone on to abuse alcohol or drugs that mask the underlying disease problems.
Substance abuse is usually assumed by a person with a disorder bipolar to help with the symptoms they feel. A person may appear to overcome depression taking any kind of stimulant, and so the alcohol can act as a depressant, reducing hyperactivity in someone who is manic, as an example. What these people do not realize is that alcohol and drugs will eventually make their problems worse, and ending with the most serious episodes. For a person with bipolar disorder, they need to prevent these substances as a response to their problems.
Depression greater, or MDD, is a less obvious bipolar disorders. A person who is depressed most of the time, while ill, and may be Guests or short episodes of mania. It is difficult to marry the treatment correct for each patient, and encourage them to take their medications. There are sometimes unwanted side effects that may require a change in medication or something to counter it. Having classified all these disorders is easier for physicians and other professionals to help those who suffer from this type of mental illness.
