bipolar meds and weight gain
I need information on bipolar medications?
I go to the doctor within a few days to know if I have bipolar disorder, i know i do ive had for a long time, but now i cannot live like this anymore anyway Ive done a lot of reading in most general medicine and half of them MAK eyou weight gain I can not gain more weight. I have gained 50 pounds of anothe rmedication about 4 years ago and am still trying to get out. I am writing on topamax? But I heard that could cause problems with my ovaries? and I want children soon im not trying to do something worse than it already is. I just want to know anything about any of medication that has been prescribed for bipolar disorder that has yet to make any weight gain because as we all know, we must try different medications before we can find one for us. anyway thanks a ton and God bless
My G-friend was taking lithium and appears to work well. He had to stop because she was pregnant, but she has been doing impressive during pregnancy. Lithium did not emotional, it was good and bad. He did get through some of their hard tmes however.
