Am I Bipolar?

I was diagnosed bipolar about 6 months ago. After living my whole life knowing that something was wrong, I was relieved finally have a diagnosis. I am taking Effexor in the morning, 225 mg and 400 mg of Seroquel at night. Here is my problem, I can not seem to remember how I felt before you start taking drugs. It feels very frustrating. I almost feel like I should get off the drugs and that way I can trace my mood and know sure if I was diagnosed correctly. Has any one felt this way and what are their actions? I began to question after I read about all the effects Seroquel side. Maybe I'm just being a hypochondriac?

The most important thing is how you feel now. You mentioned that you have lived all his life knowing that something was wrong. That has been felt since I started taking the medication? Talk to your doctor about this, and simply ask how he made his diagnosis. Have him be as specific as possible. Also, ask friends and family how they were unlike now. My daughter is bipolar, and the difference in behavior from now on medication, compared to the way it was before is a 100% improvement. Meanwhile, do not stop your medication. Bipolar disorder can be fatal if you are high or low. It can make you think about suicide and taking unnecessary risks that could be fatal. Medication If you're feeling over-medicated, it may be possible reduce or change to combat that feeling, but do not stop them. God bless.
