bipolar motivation

Do I look like bipolar or depression?
There was something in me and I wonder if I'm not being diagnosed correctly. I get very depressed at times, and It seems that my mood is much lower base than most people. He takes a great effort to interact with others. Sometimes I lack the motivation to even out of bed. It can be difficult to leave the house. Moreover, when I'm happy, I'm very animated, talking fast, very bubbly, etc, but do not think the people do not know me think I was too happy. Its just that the difference between my high and low is so great that the people I know that its strange. The other thing is that never I'm "up" for more than a few hours. Although I can be "down" for a couple of days at a time. I have tried many antidepressants and the best result is that will help me have less "down" episodes. Thoughts?
I think you should talk to the person prescribing anti-depressants (if you're taking one at this time). Primary care physicians can be great, but I suggest an evaluation by someone who is bipolar and depressed patients all time. They are more likely to pick up on differences between the diagnoses. What you describe sounds bipolar, but you may only sensitive to antidepressant and when the peaks in the blood feels superior and happier. Try to record when taking a medication (if you are taking one) and after registration of mood swings (high and low). Do this for several days and find a pattern. I would still see a professional in the field of mental health for assessment and / or changes in medication however. Best of luck.
