Valpro 200 – sodium valproate – Does anyone else prescribed this for bipolar and PTSD?

I have bipolar disorder and PTSD and have been in Valpro 200 for about 6 months. Patients with epilepsy are treated with this drug in reducing the severity and quantity attacks the patient has. (I have friends whose cousin is epileptic and medicine in it) My doctor says it is because there is a common nuron engine that controls the drug. Is there someone else being treated with this medicine? What dose? (just increased my dose to 6×200mg per day?) Do you think it is working for you? How long will it take? I propranolol 40mg 2x a day. Seroquel 50mg + 2x Aday. Lorazepam 1mg + 6x Aday, not bipolar, post traumatic stress disorder. ~ ~ ~ If I stop I'm taking up to 4 nights and the mind 5days.Loose after 3 day.I suffer flashbacks beattings violet end of the street cops and fighting.That is my answer.
