why do people hate amy winehouse?
okay not everyone has the same taste in music,
but i do NOT understand how people can hate her because she has a eating disorder & she does drugs & bipolar & manic depressive & a alcoholic.
if it was a normal person who had a eating disorder and mental issues, would you be like “FUK!NG CRACK WH0R3!” i dont think you would,
why is it any different ?
she is a normal person, she has feelings.
she is only human,
people saying she deserves to be dead,
that is awful, we do not know her.
we don’t know what has happened in her life,
all we know is that she does drugs, and has very erratic behaviour, and she is a brilliant singer.
i think people should think about what they are saying before they speak.
she needs help, not people slagging her off.
i think its awful,
pretend she was her daughter.

Because it’s a lot easier to hate someone who’s down and out than it is to try to understand what has happened to them to send them into such a tailspin. I agree with you completely. And I think that all of the press and gossip and “hating on” Brittney Spears is a similar shame.
Amy and Brittney are two young women who have clearly made some very bad choices in life. Unfortunately, there are far too many people who are willing to kick and trample them while they’re down for the count than there are people who are willing to see them helped. Such a shame! If you ask me, this is one of the biggest things that’s wrong with our society: no compassion.
