bipolar not taking meds
Anyone taking ADD & Bipolar meds?
I’m on Adderall for ADD and I can’t stop taking it. I go through a lot of trial and error when getting on a medication and this one works so well. I’ve been on the same dose for 7 years and have never built a tolerance for it. I also have a lot of other issues – increase & decrease in energy, appetite, sex drive, sleep, paronoia, major depression, anxiety, extreme anger/rage, agitation, irritability, and interests – which all point to Bipolar. So is anyone taking ADD and Bipolar meds at the same time? Which ones are you on? I really want to treat my crazy bipolar and feel normal, but I’m not sure which medications would work well with the ADD one. I’ve tried Lamictal and Zyprexa which didn’t work so now I want to tell the doctor what I would like to try.
To add, I have gone off the Adderall and I got extremely worse. The Adderall keeps me at a medium Bipolar rather than a high Bipolar level. I would like to have a low to no Bipolar level.
I have both. I take abilify, lithium and lamictal for bipolar. I take adderall 20 mg 3x a day.
