bipolar patient stories
do bipolar patients tell largely embellished stories (lies) about their past?
i have never heard so many fantastic tales from one human being…everything from being on the 1st seal team, to befriending cher, to bullets that were shot at him as a cop that went straight through him and left no hole in the wall behind him to writing buddy holly’s first hit…is this a symptom of bipolar?
This could be a part of bipolar disorder. When a bipolar is in their manic phase they start to have these rapid thoughts and ideas that may not be true. This is all a part of their low self-esteem and the need for attention and affirmation.
Another possibility is that this person could have a personality disorder. It is hard to diagnose because there is little info given. I would definitly check into both!
