Do you think bipolar people should have children?
I can’t decide what I think. I have heard positive and negative experiences.
I tried to have kids, 3 miscarriages and now I am starting to think it was for the best because of my illness. I was doing well for more than a decade and only recently had an episode, related to skipping my meds.

There’s no reason in the world you shouldn’t have kids if that’s what you want. You sound like you’re stablized. I had 2 kids before I was even diagnosed. It was rough. We’re all fine.
You do run the chance of passing bipolar onto your children. And you need to know from your doctor about being on meds while pregnant.
Bipolar doesn’t have to interfere with raising children.
