bipolar sayings

People out there that have a positive outlook and encouraging words…?
I am kind of in a bad place right now. About to lose my house, just lost my job, (i was a great employee there was nothing i could have done-economic crisis,) the females in my family are terrible to me and just the most selfish and bipolar people ever known to man, and i need some words of encouragement. What helps you guys get through your day? Any sayings or quotes that help you? I surely need some!
Thanks so much:)
Take a deep breath, look down at your body, and think of this. You have your health. All your arms and legs are functioning, and especially your brain and your heart. In the past few months, my mother died, my daughter developed a neurological condition that caused her excruciating pain and forced her to use crutches for several weeks. My brother-in-law had a brain tumor the size of a baseball and had a five hour brain surgery (his 18 yo daughter lost her mother to leukemia at age 11, so the death of her father would have been doubly traumatic for her), and two of my best friend’s sister’s died. It really put things into perspective. Day to day issues, bills, jobs, even foreclosures, are nothing compared to issues like life and health. When I get really down and obsessed with my problems, I think of families who have no homes, no food, no clean water, horrible preventable medical conditions and no health care, and I just can’t feel so sorry for myself. At the end of the day, I’ve got it pretty good, even when money is tight or I’ve screwed up big time.
I am very sorry for what is happening in your life, and I wish you the best of luck. If you haven’t started negotiating with your lender, go ahead and give them a call. They have incentive to help you: http://cbs2chicago.com/business/foreclosures.obama.administration.2.1339158.html. Otherwise, try to sell it before you lose it. And, don’t hesitate to challenge any efforts to foreclose. Many folks are winning when they challenge a mortgage. Sometimes, the forecloser doesn’t even turn to have any standing in the court, when challenged: http://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/article-29937.html
Check into the emergency family assistance programs in your area. There may be some assistance available to help you get through a bad patch. Start calling every temp agency in town, and signing up to work temp jobs. Temp work can help you bridge a gap, and even get you into a permanent position. Many employers are cutting back on permanent positions and often fill the gaps with temps.
As far as your family goes, my heart goes out to you. My bipolar mother just passed away, and my bipolar sister is horrible. Absolutely horrible. I feel your pain.
Don’t be afraid to distance yourself from that abuse. In fact, don’t be afraid to use LOTS of distance, even if it means not even speaking to them anymore. H
