Has anyone else noticed and / or been surprised by the number people who believe in bipolar disorder is anyway related to or multiple personality disorder, I guess its just based on the assumption of bi-means two …. but referred to the two polar extremes of emotions. Both ends of the pole … therefore, bi-polar .. personally I'm surprised. obviously some people do if I'm doing question … what I wonder is why they cared enough to bother to answer if you feel its not worth asking
People have the same ideas wrong about schizophrenia, which translated means Litterally divided mind. Every time there is a question about schizophrenia here a guy has smartass comment about split personality.
