bipolar verbal abuse

Is this considered verbal abuse, emotional abuse and neglect?

My best friend is having some problems with their parents. They have been separated since he was two, and his mother works at night so she is alone every night. during the day, she is trapped in the house because her mom is always asleep during the day. which basically live on herself. His father is worse. He's like bipolar. It is in a great mood, and asked to configure your notebook so you can play online poker. Poker is not charged, turns and starts screaming. And he comes home drunk every time and throw everything TV trays. Also brings home random girls and makes sleeping upstairs with their grandparents. And her parents are constantly going into it, and put it right in the middle. as "tell your mom af ** K out for me, that stupid c * NT. "And" let your dad know that the next time you plan something to let me know first. " So basically becomes the Messenger. I feel so bad for her, and want to know if this is considered an abuse? We are both 13 years down the road.

Sort of makes you appreciate your own parents of a little more huh?!? I think I'll turn off the computer and call my mom. Thanks for the reminder that my closing key boy children could have been much worse.
