Lithium can cause people with bipolar disorder commit suicide?
I was told that lithium is the common medicine used for those with disorder prevent them from becoming bipolar depression and suicidal thoughts. I had a friend tells me that he lost two relatives, that bipolar disorder, taking lithium. He said the drug made them suicidal thoughts. Can someone please enlighten me?
Lithium is not considered an antidepressant, and is very good * * prevent suicide in people with bipolar.
