criteria bipolar disorder

Is it possible to meet the criteria for borderline personality disorder, but does not?
Is it possible to meet the criteria for DSM V BPD, and still do not have the disorder, because the behavior is caused by another disorder (ie bipolar)?
One can be diagnosed with the double – the difference is that the borderline personality disorder has no emotional lability – in other words, moods do not fluctuate between mania and depression. If a person with borderline personality mania also displays and / or depression – That would be a dual diagnosis. I read that neuroleptic drugs was a good job in stabilizing the borderline symptoms, but mood stabilizers do a better job in treating mood swings.
