this is what i asked : would you marry a woman or man who is bipolar or depressed
and this lady responded : I wouldn’t date or marry a bipolar man. I know some bipolar people are able to manage their condition with medication, but too many of them have messed-up lives. They tend to have other issues with substance abuse, job stability, financial stability (because they go on spending sprees when they’re manic), and just major drama in their personal relationships. Because being bipolar is often genetic, it also means that you could be dealing with other bipolar relatives on a regular basis. And, of course, your own children could end up bipolar, which means you’re introducing a lot of craziness into your own family bloodline. It’s too great a risk to take, IMO.
then does that mean people who are bipolar are doomed?
no, thats just one persons opinion. There are an abundance of people who would marry someone who is dealing with some problems.
