dvd bipolar

I sympathize or keep my distance?
From ages 3-10, my older sister was fine. Our mother had left our family when I was two, but my father was in the military, so (including younger sister) lived with grandparents for 7 years. Then, when he was 9, my father turned married and the first year, my sister was okay. In its 6.7 magnitude, got into trouble with "friends." He escaped several times and even called the police on my father once said he had "stuck" (he did not BTW). He told psychiatrists that all our step mom was a bad b **** (he was). Now I understand most were of bipolar, but she continued to behavior. Our parents were divorced last summer (my sis BC) when we moved to MS. Heather just got more problems with drug addicts here so she went to camp for 5 months, but returned. Recently, she stole our piano keyboard, PS2, 3 games, memory card, DVD Player, TV, and other things. She is in jail now. She threatened my family and I have tried to repair dozens of times.
You said that your sister is bi-polar. When it comes to a person with a mental disorder that is difficult for other people to understand why they do what they do. Also has said that he does drugs. It sounds to me like she has an addiction, which makes their situation even more difficult. I work at a homeless shelter and treat with people with similar situations every day. It has been my experience that when people with mental disorders are drug use is more often than not trying to numb the issues that affect their daily. It is a kind of self as the supply of medicines. You did not say whether her sister are taking medication for their illness or should be. (Allot of times have stopped taking his medication) hope you're taking care of this in jail. As much as he would like to help me I think your sister needs professional help. This does not mean you should never see her again or the right of his forehead. It just means she needs to deal with their problems with people who are trained to help her. (Do not call a plumber to fix a leaky roof you want!) The family is forever love and just because she is now ill does not mean that they will never improve. You can only take a while.
