Bipolarism ?
Okay, so my Grand mom(on my dad’s side) killed herself, because she was bipolar. My dad is also bipolar. My aunt on my mom’s side is bipolar. I’m pretty sure this means I’m at a high risk. Sometimes, I go into these spells of hatred or sadness, and other time I get really hyper or happy and forgiving. I sometimes get so bad that I cut myself. I’m still pretty young… so could these be like early signs of this disease? The moods can be from like 2 hours to 2 months. I’m pretty good at covering it up at school, but then once I get home I seclude myself, and when I’m TOTALLY by myself I just cry or self mutilate. I don’t really think I should get help yet, because I think I’m too young, and they’ll think I’m doing it for attention. And it takes me like hours to get alseep most of the time.
alright so my mom is bipolar and so am I. when I was diagnosed I was only 16! I was the same way at school I had a good cover up! but at home I did keep my self away from people in my room and was crying depressed angry I never self mutilated but you are at high risk because it runs in my family and have had suicides also from family members! get checked out and get on something it really hopes you’ll thank yourself in the long run to catch it early and you wont have to take the medicine for the rest of your life if your lucky!
