Is Jean Slater in Eastenders an accurate portrayal of Bipolar?
Love the character in Eastenders. Think she is hilarious. Is she an accurate portrayal of someone with Bipolar Disorder. I think the way she talks is just so funny. She seems so hyper and manic all the time.
I think Jean Slater is a typical, and very realistic portrayal of Bipolar disorder. I am currently researching symptons of this disorder and it fits perfectly, also the new storyline of Stacey Slater inheriting this syndrome reflects the abnormal behaviour that happens, sudden shoppin sprees, aggressive behaviour and along with the manic behaviour sexual drive increases.
