facts bipolar disorder

Would a boy having bipolar disorder make girls less likely to go out with him?
I have bipolar disorder, which is sometimes known as manic-depressive illness. I have the bipolar II type of the disorder.
I was just wondering if the fact of having bipolar disorder would make girls less likely to go out with me. I mean, if there’s a girl I get to like and the issue of going out together arises, then I always tell them that I have bipolar disorder beforehand. I mean, there’s nothing else you can do, is there? If you conceal it from them, then that’s kinda deceptive.
However, I was wondering if for most girls it would put them off, or whether it would have no effect one way or another, or whether they might actually like it (e.g. bipolar is often associated with creativity, so some girls might like that).
I’d be really interested in your views. And it’d be really really good if you were brutally honest (i.e. if you wanna say “it’d put me off” then please feel free to say so).
Thanks in advance for any answers

I would save that until you’ve gone out a few times. Let them get to know YOU first, and not your illness.
