Is there a functioning schizophrenic?
There are many famous and successful people who live and have lived with bipolar disorder, but is there schizophrenics to hold down jobs and have families with the help of therapy and medication? Sorry if I seem rude or insensitive, but I'm just curious
When I first came schizophrenia, could not drive or leave the house or do anything. Then I had to ABILIFY 10 mg and has been in remission for 4 years. I bought a new truck and drive without fear, and socializing and I get along great with my boyfriend and family. I want to work, but would not be able to pay for my medication, that costs $ 2300 per month. There is no cure for the disease, but with medication and therapy have a second chance at happiness.
