Do people with bipolar 1 have visual hallucinations?
those with psychotic features.
and can they have visual hallucinations that are random or unrelated to the mood state – like things changing size or seeing smoke
if so what kinds and are they aware that these are hallucinations
I ask because my current diagnosis is bipolar 1 w psychotic features. with or without medications and with or without mood symptoms Ive had these types of hallucinations. The doctors just jot it down and say nothing more about it. It makes me wonder if I have something else going on mentally or neurologically.
