Hello, you emailed me Sorry but I'm not familiar with Gotfried plate, and mean bilateral hip or total hip (ie, mother and female) when you say bipolar? TKR – quite straighforward – Normally used in osteoarthritis. They have a limited life depending on the weight of the PT and lifestyle. You can rebuild, but with more problems. Virtually the same holds for total hip although there are significant variations in the type of prosthesis and whether or not cemented. For example, someone in middle age are likely to obtain a ceramic head in their prostheses.
