lamictal dosage bipolar disorder

PLEASE HELP? frustrated…Should I go back to anti depressants for bipolar?

I orniginally was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. I was put on zoloft. Totally got rid of my anxiety 100 percent. and it helped me be a much happier person. but as soon as I kept on going up to much a much higher dosage I started to get manic I beleive i went up to 200 or 225 mg’s?. So ever since I am now diagnosed with bipolar disorder. The zoloft made me cut and freak out a lot when i was on such a high dosage. Now I am taking 150 mg of lamictal. and 0.5 mg klonopin for anxiety when I need it. It just makes life a living hell when I’m using this stuff. It feels like I’m not on any medicine at all, and nothing is being treated. So it’s just like me hanging in there, and it is very hard. Please someone help me? I am so frustrated and am out of state, and never have any contact with my psychiatrist unless i have an appt.

i think are studying so when you find that manic episode is occurs then try to do some creative works like reading books, painting, gardening or what is you want to do.Mantra is-try to invest your manic energy in some creative work.
when your mood goes down try to enjoy time with listening music, playing cards or want you want.
if your doctor is not capable to cure you then you can your doctor because any doctor can not cure his 100 % patients.
you can ask to your doctor for CBT (earlier mentioned)

i’m always be here for you.
i am sure it will work for you.
