ADHD vs bipolar disorder?
Im 15 years old and was diagnosed with type ADHD inatentive over a year ago. I'm on a low dose of Concerta to help to me to focus on school that is helping some, but not much. About six months ago my therapist put me on Paxil for anxiety and depression. My mom was worried by some manic behavior was feeling in me and I see a psychiatrist who asked about a history of bipolar in the family. My grandfather was seriously and my dad was never diagnosed but it is quite possible that had it. She said that people with bipolar family history trends … Antidepressants can make symptems bipolar misbehave. she is out of my takin antidepressants that are supposed to help, but ive done some research on bipolar disorder and symptems sense for me. many of them are really similar to things I used to dagnose with ADHD, however. Can anyone tell me how I can recognize the difference … could I be bipolar and ADHD or vice versa? help!
