medication bipolar children
Anyone had problems with getting medication right for their child with ADHD?
It may be that your child, like mine, has BiPolar as well. They are discovering that it is not uncommon.
I work in a school and I would say yes, this is very common. Because drug studies can not be done on children, we can not know the exact effects it will have on their little bodies. Often the game is a trial & error game to get the right dose & medication for your child (this also happens with adults with mental illnesses). I understand that parents do not want to play the medication game with their little babies, but once you find the right combination/doses, it will be beneficial to all. Please don’t give up!
