memory loss bipolar disorder
Is there a link between memory loss and Bipolar Disorder?
I’m Bipolar II and ever since my BP “crash” my memory has gone down the tubes. I’m only 26 and I take Lamictal. I forget names, numbers and directions INSTANTLY, but I never did before.
Is it just me or is there a connection? How can I counteract this?
It’s the Lamictal…….. I’m on it to and can’t remember names, how to tie my shoes, etc….. everyone I’ve talked to on the Lamictal has the same problem. I Carry an organizer and write down everything……. Literally, anythign I will need to know 5 minutes from “now” I write down. And I bought slip on shoes…….
