mixed anxiety and depression disorder
What should I do about drug tolerance?
I am 17 and currently take 60 mg generic version of Adderall (amphetamine salts mixed) per day. Two 30mg orange pills, once in the morning and afternoon each day. My psychiatrist diagnosed me with AD / HD (not the lazy type hyper), OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), and some anxiety and depression problems. I'll cut through the Strait, to the point of doing this long: Got prescribed Adderall 20 mg per day on 17 December. He did much, a week later, he told me to take 30 mg each day not worked, but left me restless and attentive at 1:00 pm, because I take at 7:00 am So on January 2, he put me on 60 mg of Adderall. Worked great I started doing my work and complete my task. He has also done wonders for my anxiety and depression. But now, almost exactly 1 month I do not feel anything. I took my 2nd dose today at 2:30 PM and all What I did was make me feel tired. Should I take a break or continue taking it to be as effective as it was.
You should never mud around with a medicine prescribed, especially Adderall. After a month, sometimes more, the body will use for the drug in his system. This is when the prescribing physician that needs to be told and then they can decide whether the dose should be adjusted. JUST NOT ENOUGH! This will cause withdrawal symptoms. Take this medicine in the prescribed amount and make an appointment with the psychiatrist who examined himself.
