Why I feel this way my bipolar medication?
I take medication for bipolar and has a couple of years and lately I've been thinking about suicide and cutting again … but I do not think like that just happens. Everything is fine and I loved life, but I can not stop thinking about death … What I do? go to my psychiatrist in two weeks and I can not go before because shes the only place I go to 1 day of the week, and I'm in counciling.
I go to a group of weekly support for people with depression and bipolar disorder. Unfortunately, I have heard stories similar to yours. I have had similar experiences as you, but not so bad. For some people, not only comes a time when drugs start to lose their efficiency or stop working altogether. I know from personal experience how frustrating it can be. I thought, "Bravo. I finally found a Med that works" and get optimistic. Then at some point of medicine or drugs stop working and is very discouraging. If things to really get bad and you can not see ANY doctor, go to a hospital ER. Some district hospitals are better than others, especially psychiatric. However, if you're really desperate, go to a hospital may be necessary. Hopefully you will not need hosptilization. In the emergency room, you will be seen by a psychiatrist who can adjust their medication, and things will get better. Of course, talking to a psychotherapist may be all you need to help you through until you can see your regular doctor. In many clinics or health plan, you can usually find a back doctor in an emergency. Email me if necessary. I wish him well.
