New medication for bipolar trouble peeing?
So I am bipolar 2 and have severe anxiety. Everytime I start a new medication for bipolar, depression, and possible anxiety medications also, I have trouble taking a piss.
I stand there for so long, and It is very hard to go.
I don’t know if its the medication when I start them, cus every time it goes away after i get farther in the process. Or if its all in my mind because of my anxiety.
The new medication I started is 10mg lexapro btw. and ive been taking lamictal for a long time at 200mg. And have klonopin for anxiety currently for a long time too.
Please help?
Yeah, I understand what you went through. Some medications can cause urinary retention. I got that when I took Cymbalta. It initially took a very long time to urinate. Mine becomes worse as it becomes more and more difficult to urinate and I had to stop taking the medication. But you said that for you, this problem goes away after you get further in the process. Then, there is no need for you to worry then. By the way I am also taking klonopin for a long time too.
