We are a divided nation, with Bill O'Reilly and the New York Times on each side of the contentious political divide. Today is an understatement to call this country, the United States of America, is actually the Blue and Red America. To the growing polarization is accelerating the downward spiral of our democracy; divided we fall.
There is an ongoing effort to maintain this division between liberals and conservatives, because it is beneficial for:
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Members of Congress, plotting to stay in office. (There have been diverted attention from voters, the damage caused by them, blaming the opposition. Brainwashed Americans fight each other, totally unaware of the career members of Congress are the main reason for our problems government.)
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â From left to right and right on the media companies that make their profits by fanning the flames of political division.
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â In television and radio talk shows, who preach the line Match their vocals for their livelihood.
The common complaint is that newspapers and television have a liberal bias, and the radio has a conservative bias. The real dilemma is that there is little or no prejudice, nonpartisan information to the public, with no alternative, the public is subject to information prejudicial that it solidifies and increases the harmful division. Today, everything is politicized, whether for political or political expediency.
Conservative
There are numerous media hosts who cater to conservatives. Bill O'Reilly is a prominent member of this group. Win a good income from his choir preach from his pulpit on Fox News TV. The New York Times is one of, or the leading newspaper in the U.S. Their stories and editorials the influence of other liberal newspapers and TV networks. It is no coincidence that issues daily in this publication are both covered in many newspapers, TV and radio stations. It uses many techniques to impart his left-leaning:
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Remove or bury the stories in the last pages that are useful or complimentary to the opposition.
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Taking quotations out of context, distorting the intended meaning.
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â editorialize the news.
· Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Using personal attacks opponents.Â
The Times, like others in the conservative media, is also provided in polls management. Skew of this work and to editorialize the news has transformed the credibility of journalism. Unfortunately, the daily exposure to the media creates a biased propaganda machine, like Adolf Hitler in the 1930s. This constant subjection to media bias moves slowly to the beliefs more extreme, the acceleration of growing political chasm in this country.
The emboldened extremists of every political persuasion tactics more extreme and unacceptable in their frantic punishment of the other. Recalcitrant ideological and religious beliefs are not a substitute for discussion and careful consideration. Transaction has been lost in this senseless struggle. The left wing vicious, relentless personal attacks on George W. Bush were bad for our nation and who were also an assault on the office of the Presidency. So far in this administration for Obama, right wing extremists have attacked the President. They are contesting the Democratic leadership in Washington, calling the vice president, "Cheshire Biden," Senate Majority Leader "Reid said enthusiastically," and the chairman of the House, "Pelosi air ball," a whole that is unnecessary and totally unnecessary. Â
Our ancestors created this wonderful experience in governance democracy based on the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness that embodied a united citizenry. We can not maintain a polarized Republic. Citizens must organize population movement to vote against the career members of Congress, ending the political split suicide by restoring reason and logic.
